Speaker: Brandon Arrowsmith
Brandon has over 11 years’ experience as a Workplace Health and Safety professional with extensive experience in diverse industries including Education, Major Events, Venue Hire, Construction and Manufacturing.
For the past 11 years, Brandon has advised senior management in all matters related to safety and risk, including the review of corporate strategic risk and business continuity planning, through to designing and delivering training for front line workers. Brandon's experience includes working with major stakeholders to deliver some of the Queensland’s largest events, down to making incremental changes in schools and classrooms to enhance the safety and wellbeing of students.
Before moving to Australia in 2012 and stepping into the world of Workplace Health and Safety, Brandon worked in Canada as Wildland Fire Fighter and Ski Patroller (avalanche control, search and rescue, first aid) for a number of years.
